Board games have an incredible knack for blending entertainment with mental agility, and Turkish Draughts, known as “Dama,” is no exception. Initially introduced to the game as a recommendation for a friend with ADHD, fun, simplistic in terms of rules with enough strategy to make it interesting.
I had a chess board, my friend had counters and we watched a brief YouTube video and was able to learn the basic rules. Of course mastering the game like everything in life takes longer but chess gave me a strategic advantage and an irritated and losing friend who was sitting opposite me.
